Overview
Im fine is designed so that app content stays on your device. The current version does not send drafts, emotional check-ins, Quick Check answers, action preferences, or trusted-contact details to the developer’s servers or to third-party services.
The app has no developer-operated account or backend, no advertising or analytics SDKs, and no connection to an AI service. Depending on your settings, Apple may include the app container in a device or iCloud backup. This does not give the developer access to your app content.
Data stored on your device
The app’s local storage may contain:
- language, haptics, reminder, and breathing-duration settings;
- drafts and unsent writing that you choose to save;
- the emotional mode, intensity, impulse, and priority associated with a saved draft;
- your action preferences;
- details for trusted contacts you choose to save, including a name, phone number, note, and Contacts identifier; and
- information needed to restore an active local timer.
Quick Check answers and results are used while that flow is open and are not retained after it ends. Other unsaved answers in the main emotional flow are also session-only. All of this information is used only to provide app features on your device.
Contacts, notifications, and Live Activities
Contacts
Im fine asks for Contacts access only after you choose to add a trusted person from the system address book. Access is used to select a contact and refresh a saved contact’s name or phone number. The app does not edit or delete entries in the system address book.
Notifications
Notification permission is used for reminders and timer alerts that are scheduled locally on your device. The current version does not use developer-operated push notifications.
Live Activities
A timer you start may appear on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island through Apple’s Live Activities.
You can change Contacts and notification permissions at any time in iPhone Settings.
Information you send to support
If you contact support by email, the developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to reply, troubleshoot the issue, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
Please do not send personal drafts, health information, or contact details unless they are necessary to resolve the issue. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary and can be deleted on request unless retention is required by law.
This website
This static website does not use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, marketing cookies, or browser local storage. The hosting provider may process standard request information—such as IP address, time, requested URL, user agent, and security logs—to operate and protect the site.
Opening the App Store, an email link, or another external service is governed by that service’s privacy policy.
Storage and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual drafts and trusted contacts in the app. Delete all local data in Settings removes app content and settings and cancels local reminders and active Live Activities.
Deleting Im fine removes its local app container. These actions do not remove people from the system address book, revoke system permissions, or directly delete data already included in an Apple-managed backup.
Apple system backups
Depending on your device and backup settings, Apple may include the app container in an iCloud or device backup. Apple manages those backups under its own terms and privacy policies.
Data security
Im fine reduces data transfer by keeping app content on your device. No storage method is completely secure, so you should also protect your iPhone with its system security features.
Children
The app does not ask for age, create a profile on a developer server, or knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer server. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use when appropriate.
Changes to this policy
If data practices change materially, this policy and its effective date will be updated before or at the same time as the relevant app or website change.
